Your Friday Plans: Garnier Greener Tour Hits Miami

{This Friday, Garnier teams up with TerraCycle for a go-green kind of weekend.}

Hair, earth consciousness and giveaways. Yup, it’s going to be a good Friday. A see-thru Beauty Brigade bus rolls into town, Wal-Mart’s parking lot at 8400 Coral Way, Miami, to be exact, on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to do good for your hair and the environment.

How’s that? Well, we all know Garnier products come in green bottles, but that’s not the only thing green about the brand. It teamed up with TerraCycle, a company that teaches the masses about upcycling and recycling, for an environmentally friendly and hair-tastic event.

Grab your empty lotion bottles, lip glosses containers and hair product packaging and get on the bus. Anyone who brings their empties will get free Garnier samples and the opportunity to try out new products. Bring at least one piece of beauty packaging waste (like that mascara tube you NEED to get rid of, remember the three-month rule!) and you’ll be eligible for a mini-style sesh at the on-site Garnier styling station.

There’s also a Garnier giveaway from fellow blogger Jewel Figueras of Jewel’s Fab Life, who’ll be on hand from 4-6 p.m. hosting a blogger and reader meet-up. Stop by, say hi and get your hair did by Garnier stylists. You’ll go home with a gift bag brimming with Garnier products, you know, to replace the empties you just upcycled.

 Be sure to RSVP for the event here. And then tweet about it at #GarnierGreenerTour.
