It’s casual Friday, so let’s chill and wax philosophic. And because I haven’t done this in a long, long time, here are random thoughts by me.

As I mentioned on Facebook the other day, here are two things that, for reasons I can’t understand, don’t exist but need to: 1.) A gas truck that makes a weekly visit to your house. 2.) A manicure/pedicure salon with adjoining car wash so you can get your nails did AND your car washed at the same time.

There are food trucks and mobile boutiques, so why don’t we have a mobile mani/pedi salon?

Schmidt was on Ugly Betty as a cocky, suit-wearing assistant eons before he was on New Girl.

Bobby Brown BB Cream and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake at Barry’s Boot Camp changed my world—pretty much in the same week, too.

The state of the interior of my purse is a direct link to my current mental state. (messy = chaotic).

Eating chewable Vitamin C like candy is so not a good idea.

House of Cards season 2—brilliant.

I accidentally went on a reading hiatus for about eight months. My first foray back into books is The Marriage Plot from the guy who wrote Middlesex.

If you run out of laundry detergent and your kid is asleep and you can’t leave your house to get more, you can use dish soap instead.

This pic was taken at the 1111 Parking Garage minutes before an unfriendly security guard ran me off because apparently, you aren’t allowed to take pics in a private garage even though you’re paying to use the space.

Roo and Penny make life that much sweeter.

I have never had chicken salad or tuna fish in my life, and I’m OK with that.

If life were Girls, I’d be Hannah—only way less nude.

To quote Elf: “I’m in love, I’m in love, and I don’t care who knows it.”
