Hair: The Long and Short of It
Behold, my hair progression. My current incarnation, the bob, started as a regrowth from the Carey Mulligan-inspired pixie I cut back in 2009. A few months later Emma Watson chopped her hair just like mine, and I felt way en vogue. (And not just like a new mom who needed to do something different to change up the way I look/felt.) A year and change later, I started to grow it back out, until I met Todd at Van Michael Miami Salon, who inspired me to keep it short. He is, hands down, the best stylist ever. Want me to prove it? I’m partnering with Van Michael Miami Salon to give away a cut, style and makeup lesson. Yup, you can get your hair did with my beloved Todd, and then spend some time with makeup artist Lee to get the trends for fall down pat. With a new season on the way, now is the perfect time to try something new—pixie, bob or otherwise.

So, this short-haired girl is looking for some *much* needed styling inspiration. It’s hard to get creative with a really short do’ and I’ve been stuck in a hairstyling rut for 10 years (yup, same cut for over a decade – sad, but true).
