The October Beauty Board

Well, hello, October. Here’s what I’ll be wearing/using throughout your 31 days … Behold, it’s the monthly beauty board.

How cute are these hand-crochet sandals from Painted Bird? I adore them. Prepare to see me kicking it in these with my boyfriend jeans all fall long. Find other super cute colors and styles on the site at shoppaintedbird.com.

We’re toning it down for fall, cue the nude hues. Loving these triangle-shaped necklaces in neutrals from Forever 21. Find the spike pendant here and the shell triangle here. For under $15 total you can afford to layer up.

My latest nail polish crush? Copper from Butter London. This shade, Champers, is as good as a glass of bubbly.

I’ve been a fan of Napoleon Perdis for a long, log time. Find this Radiance Boosting Primer at Neiman Marcus, becuase let’s face, sometimes you just need a boost of radiance. Am I right?

Who doesn’t love Feed? It’s a eco-friendly company with giving back at the heart of the biz. The brand is teaming up with Women’s Health on October 12 in Miami for Run10 Feed10 race. The concept: You run a 10K and they will feed 10 people in your local community. Better get your running shoes ready to roll. For more info, log on to run10feed10.com.

Makeup kits may be the greatest invention ever. You don’t have to pack a million things into your makeup bag, especially if you have this Pixie Perfection Palette. I love how beautifully neutral all the shades are, with colors for face, cheeks and eyes. Now I just need a getaway to take this goodness on. And, hi, at $28, what a steal.

Fact: I am THE WORST at putting on eyeliner. It’s like raccoon smudge city (and I don’t mean that in a good way). This super thin Le Stylo Ultra Slim Liquid Liner from Chantecaille at Neiman Marcus  is amazing for those of us who are not makeup artists.

And last but certainly not least, my new keeping-me-from-chopping-out-my-hair tool: The Cloud Nine Micro Wand from Neiman Marcus. It’s been almost six months since I’ve chopped the bob. Making it curly helps me forget how I still have 1.2 thousand years before this hair is anywhere near I want it to be. Distractions are good. This wand is amazing. Enough said.
