The Down Low on Denim

I’ve got denim karma. In March, I blogged about colored jeans I got for next to nothing. Then summer came and the very thought of jeans made me break out in a cold sweat, putting almost all pants on hiatus.

Now that fall tendencies are lingering again, I’m back on denim, and I’m stuck on the affordable price tag. A few weeks back I scored multiple pairs of James Jeans for $11 each. Insane, I know. Then, while trolling the aisles at Target, I spied these Snow Leopard jeans for a bargain $22. Snatched them up. A few weeks later, I was back to strolling the aisles and spotted these, again for $22. I love distressed denim and the light color is so right now. Here’s the best thing about both pairs from Target: They maintain their shape. Two hours into wearing them and I don’t need to hike them up over my hips every time I stand up. I wish I could say that for half the overpriced denim hanging in my closet. Who knew Andrew Jackson and jeans had so much in common?
