Behold! I’ve found the greatest tee ever. For years I’ve been scooping up v-necks, hoping to find the holy grail of tees, but they’d fall apart in the wash, get holes, pucker at the shoulders, require me to use the iron post wash. Somehow, they always turned into an epic failure of a shirt. But alas, I’ve finally done it. I’ve tasted the perfection that is Calypso St. Barth’s perfect v-neck tee.
What makes it soooooo great, you ask? The linen fabric, the deep, plunging tee, it’s perfect hip-hitting length, the fact that it’s cut slim so it’s not a bulky disaster. It’s a pricey little shirt ($75), but considering how often I wear it, it’s worth the funds. Is it slated to become the (Seinfeld reference) golden boy of my laundry pile? Yup. I will treat it as though it’s made of angel wings. bunny tails and pixie dust.
Trust, it’s that’s good. I scored mine at the Calypso St. Barth in Bal Harbour Shops, which is exactly what I want the interior of my home to look like. The colors, the textures, the mix and match of glam and earthy—it’s as perfect as the shirt.
Today, I’m pairing it with my Saint Laurent booties that I hauled my butt out of bed at 7 a.m. to get while battling the discount shoppers at the annual Saks Boxing Day sale. The lack of sleep and side of crazy is worth every step.
