Yes, that Patti Smith.
You may get as excited as Michael Stipe when I share this little bit. On Sunday, Jan. 8, Patti Smith is going to be at Book & Books in Coral Gables to talk about and sign copies of her latest memoir, “Woolgathering.” The book is a collection of her childhood musings combined with her life story. It’s a re-release with a hefty dose of new material, like omitted writings, illustrations and pics. And you get to meet Smith in person. Yes, the “Godmother of Punk” will be there in the flesh. Bring a pen and your best bra. The signings start at 4 p.m.
