The December Beauty Board: Beauty for the Last Night of the Year

With New Year’s Eve just days away, I hit up Neiman Marcus’ Beauty department and a new mascara brand to shop ideas for an epic night out. Here’s what I’ll be wearing when the ball drops.

Kiss Kiss

The last night of this month may very well be the most important lip-centric day of the year. My biggest challenge with this Napoleon Perdis Limited Edition Megamiz Lip Gloss Collection is deciding which color my midnight kiss will be. Find the set with 10 shades at Neiman Marcus

The Eyes Have It

Playing with eye makeup is one of my guilty pleasures. I’ll be glamming it up for NYE with this amazing Younique Mascara. It turns regular lashes into mega lashes with 3D-like effects. More on this coming later next week on the blog, so stay tuned. Until then, get the scoop here. I plan to highlight my uber lashes with these shadow palettes from Le Chrome Luxe Eye Duos in Grand Canal Laguna/Rialto and Piazza San Marco Pigeon/Marble.  The shades are neutral enough to wear with any look and available at Neiman Marcus.

Get Glowing

There are three steps to creating a beautiful glow: First: Cleanse. I like to tackle this mission with Natura Bisse Diamond White Instant Makeup Remover. Next: Moisturize. I put moisture in and ward off lines and wrinkles with VenEffect Anti-Aging Intensive Moisturizer. Finally, I prep with Sulwhasoo Luminature Essential Finisher, which locks in my skincare and helps my makeup go the distance. It’s perfect for wherever NYE takes me. Find all of the above at Neiman Marcus.

Color Me Happy

Finding the right shade blush has always been a bit of a mission for me. This Napoleon Perdis Limited Edition Greatest Hits Cheek Palette. It has the most popular shades from the brand in one compact, making it easy peasy to get a cheek shade that compliments my lip hue. And speaking of lip hues, this Guerlain Kiss Kiss Lipstick in Sexy Coral is ideal for bringing a blast of color to my winter makeup routine. Find both at Neiman Marcus.

This message brought to you by Neiman Marcus. The rest is the ramble that rolls around my head.
