My Day With Victoria’s Secret

A invitation to lunch at Casa Tua is one thing. A really good thing. A lunch invitation to Casa Tua with Victoria’s Secret, well that’s something else entirely. The brand came to town for the launch of its latest fragrance, Bombshell Seduction, and threw a stunning lunch at not just anywhere, but my favorite restaurant in all of Miami, Casa Tua.

The table was overrun with fresh flowers. Personalized, engraved bottles of perfume served as a place cards. And, oh yeah, a Victoria’s Secret model of the tall, blonde, perfect variety dined with us. Her name was Romee Strijd. Perhaps you’ve heard of her? I kid, of course you have. Never before in my life I have felt so short. And so brunette. Variety is the spice of life, no?

But the fun didn’t stop there. After lunch and a quick costume change, it was off to Faena to spend even more time with Victoria’s Secret. This time around, after spending the day test out beauty products (the Velvet Matte Cream Lip Stain lipstick is amazing), we got to try out the thing that made Victoria’s Secret famous in the first place: the bras. We tried on various pieces from the new collection, got measured, did a lot of laughing and hung out with, oh yeah, more Victoria’s Secret models all in the perfection of Faena’s penthouse.

I’m not positive, but I’m going to go out on a limb here and say this was probably the most girlie girl day ever. And I’m totally fine with that.
