It's True Fashion Bloggers Do Do It Better

Me (in my Target jeans—post on that coming up soon) and The Wordy Girl, ya know, doin’ it better.

The rumors are true, fashion bloggers do it better. Last night at Ricochet in Midtown Miami was proof. Fashion Bloggers The Fashion Poet and The Goodwill Project teamed up for a shopping, sipping soiree that send me home with more than a few excellent goodies.

Get ‘yer Turbands here.

My first stop and complete motivation for coming to the event: Gold Saturn’s Turbands. I scored two, which I full intend to wear as often as I breathe. I opted for black with red polka dots and a snakeskin print.

How cute is this?

Over at the Gold Saturn table, I found my most favorite little designer on the planet: David Job Acosta, who was dressed to the nines. Check out his shoes and non-matching sock action. Love.

Tinte! (This photo is, er, not blurry. It’s artistic.)

Just a few steps over my awesome friend Stacy Provines Reid (@TinteCosmetics), whom I did the Social Media Week beauty panel with, was selling her makeup line Tinte Cosmetics. I’m a huge fan of the Float gloss. It tastes and smells just like root beer.

Braids by Blo.

Blo Midtown (one of my fav spots for hair) was on hand to make beautiful braids (maybe some day if I ever grow this bob out I can get them, too). Annie Vazquez rocked some beautiful ones. And her jacket (Betsy Moss) was absolutely stellar, too.

Me with Ana Ortuno of and photographer Sasha de Almagro.

Check out Word in Town’s play-by-play recap of the night. There’s a pic in there of me with Jenny Lopez and Vazquez, too.
