February Beauty Board: Skin-Centric

My guilty pleasure: Skin creams, masks, potions and other facial notions. Life is super dehydrating, and whatever I can do to add a little moisture back in, well, I’m in. Here are my latest obsessions:

I’ve long been a fan of Fresh products. So, when Neiman Marcus mailed me the latest from the line, I was beyond ready to try it out. I started with the Fresh Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask. What I like about this is that when life hands you little imperfections, this mask makes you feel better about battling them. The velvety formula has a cooling effect which feels great in addition to everything else it does. From boosting collagen to defending against wrinkle-making free radicals, this mask is great if you’ve put your skin through a little too much. I like this mask as an option before the day starts.

A few days later, I gave the Fresh Rose Face Mask a whirl. What I love about this one is how hydrating it is. Rose petals are a skin’s dream come true, because they possess so many good oils for reviving skin. This mask is a great way to wind down an evening. Consider it, a glass of wine and catching up on the latest episode of The Mindy Project.

Afterward, I slathered on Fresh Creme Ancienne Soft Cream. This stuff is amazing. Think of it as a trip to a spa in a jar. Seed oils make it extra moisturing, too. I like to slip this on before I hit the hay for the night. Then, I wake up feeling soft, supple and ultra moisturized.

Byt the time the weekend arrived, I was ready to give the Bliss Multi-faced-eted mask a go. With the power to tackle the six most complained about facial flaws (dark spots, dryness, dullness, visible pores, rough texture and fine lines and wrinkles), I coudn’t wait to give it a go. This is a great once-a-week-mask. It made my skin feel refreshed and as though they’d taken a trip in a time machine (aka before I put it through such a dehydrating week).

Afterward, I gave the Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Infusion de Rose Nourishing Oil a test drive. This fast-absorbing oil is great to slip on before sleep. But, it works for so much more than just your face. Add to hair to condition it and keep fly aways under control. Or, add to cuticles to nourish them. Products that multi-task are always an amazing investment.

This message brought to you by Neiman Marcus. The rest is the ramble that rolls around my head.
