It’s think pink time again. As I mentioned last year, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is something that’s important to me because my junior year of high school I had a tumor removed from my left breast. Thank God it wasn’t anything serious. But it opened my eyes to the necessities of breast health. It’s something you absolutely cannot ignore. And if the month of October is a reminder for us to do that, then it’s a movement I’m going to get behind however I can. This year, I was blessed to be a part of the blogger-driven Fashion for a Cause Campaign, which was photographed at the Sagamore over the course of two days by photographer Alexander Tamargo of @AltaImages. There were 30 of us, all donning Peace Love World breast cancer awareness gear, all of which can be purchased with a portion of proceeds going to the cause.

But that’s not all, on October 17 from 6-9 p.m. join our Fashion for a Cause Campaign, dubbed Bloomies and Bloggers, at Bloomingdale’s Aventura where we’ll hit the runways in our gear. There will also be a hair styling station by So Blo, BunnieCakes cupcakes and drinks by Societe Perrier. Check it out here. Hope to see you there. FYI the pics from the campaign will remain on display at Bloomingdale’s Aventura and The Falls until the end of the month.
