If there are six staples every Miami girl needs to fake it through fall, the first is a classic white tee, the second a black leather skirt. Next, a great pair of skinny jeans. Add in a lacy top. When it comes to the last two, make sure you have a suede skirt and a sweater, like these from AYNI, all of which you can find at My Home Fashion Boutique. This last look from my fall essentials series is my favorite. Suede is the go-to fabric this season and this skirt captures the whole ’70s vibe with its patchwork feel. With maroon taking the color wheel by storm, the must-have attraction to this skirt makes perfect sense. Since sweaters and Miami go together like well, this last presidential debate, a Miami girl has to think outside of the box when picking one. I opted for no sleeves and sheer. Come cooler months, it’s perfect for layering, either over or under. And the color is so rich and fall, it’s perfect. The best part: You can toss this top on with the leather skirt or the jeans I featured earlier and the white tee also works with the skirt if you want a more casual look. It’s all about multitasking and making your closet go the extra mile. With these six pieces that’s completely possible. So, the next time you want to pretend its fall but it’s still 85 degrees out, try these on for size. And, like always, bring along your umbrella. It is, has and always will be Miami’s must-have fall accessory.
