Electric Blogarella Bella Cinthia Santos

{Meet Cinthia.}

I met Cinthia the first time I visited Ramona LaRue’s offices. She was decked out in head-to-toe black and looked chic and rocker-ish at the same time. The next time I spotted her at the Chloe show at Soho House during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. She was wearing a floral Ramona LaRue maxi dress that was just beautiful. Here she is at the fall preview at Ramona LaRue’s office a couple of weeks back. She managed to take a boho chic dress and give it punk edge. I love her ability to blend styles. And that’s why she is this week’s Electric Blogarella Bella.

Name: Cinthia Santos

Claim to Fame: Assistant Designer and Textile Designer for Ramona LaRue and freelance graphic designer/artist.

Wearing: Ramona LaRue maxi dress, Betsey Johnson necklace, Michael Kors watch and my favorite vest from eBay.

Sum up your style: Yikes. I would say artsy bohemian with a touch of elegance and a whole lot of that awkward punkiness I haven’t been able to shake off from high school (think hand-painted silk and studded denim). I can pull off a more classic, sophisticated look or go more androgynous, depends on how I’m feeling.

Most treasured item in your closet: My latest buy, my vintage Ramona pieces or the crazy dresses I made in college.

Secret shopping go-to spot: Thrift stores and small specialty boutiques, such as Isa downstairs (nothing beats shopping during my lunch break), although a lot of my best finds are online.

Beauty tip: Keep your makeup natural, and stand up straight.

When you were a kid you wanted to be: An artist, like my dad.

Never leave home without your: iphone and Wayfarers.

At the top of your fashion wish list is: Phillip Lim metallic pointed collar. I can’t stop thinking about how much more amazing it would make anything I’m wearing at the moment.

Currently addicted to: Instagram. I’m @cynno.

Last song you listened to: “Comeback Kid” by Sleigh Bells.

{Apparently it was a Ramona LaRue and denim kind of day.}
