Real talk: Yes, Labor Day came and went. Yes, you partied like a rockstar. You roasted in the sun like a piece of bacon. You killed an entire season of Breaking Bad in one sitting when the storm clouds rolled in.
Is summer over? Hell no!
Especially not here in Miami. Technically we still have 16 days before it’s officially fall—and three more months before the temperate is something other than surface-of-the-sun hot. So don’t retire those white jeans just yet. That rule is old hat anyway. If there’s something in your closet you didn’t get to this summer, put it on and parade around in it while you still can. While the temps will be well above scorching for eons to come, the pages of the September issue will eventually wear you down and you’ll walk around in boots that will feel like a slip and slide inside come noon. Go ahead and embrace summer to its fullest while you still can.
I am. Ever the sucker for a dress that twirls, here I am being floral, pink—anti-fall in Unique Vintage. And loving every second of it. I will admit, though, this dress makes me miss Mad Men something awful. But that’s a whole new topic for a whole new post.
