DIY Fashion For a Cause

Warning: You’re going to be seeing a lot of this shirt today. Embrace it. Twenty six bloggers from Miami’s blogging community  were photographed wearing this Fashion For a Cause shirt to get the word out about Breast Cancer Awareness month. Join our cult of pink-bowed tees by snatching one up at at Guy and Girl Boutique in Miami Beach, My Best Friend’s Closet in Coral Gables and Lilac and Lilies in Fort Lauderdale. Ten percent of proceeds from this $25 shirt go toward The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. You can also find them at Wynwood Squat on October 13 from 7-11 p.m. during Art Walk, when all 26 pictures will be on display.

Since being caught wearing the same thing as someone else—let alone 25 someone elses— is fashion taboo, I put my DIY skills to work to make my shirt my own.

Snip the collar and sleeves.

Give the bottom and snip, too.

And voila. How will you wear yours?
