Obligatory floral post comin’ at ‘cha. It’s matchy matchy with a smattering of mix and match, nonetheless. I know, that’s a lot to swallow. But it works, because the key to matchy matchy is just going for it. It’s like wearing your PJs in public and owning it. And we all know how much I long to wear my jammies in the great outdoors. If you’re hesitant to wear the same swatch en mass, do what I did and buy an affordable offering from H&M. This way, you can get comfortable in your pattern power before you make a serious investment on the trend. And if you’re going to go the extra mile and pair it with mix and match, like I did with my bag, sticking with a common theme is essential. Mine is a bold coral/red. It’s in the floral separates, my vintage bag and my Carlo Pazolini shoes (obsessed with the gold plate across the toe, btw). Toss on a cool ring, like this one from Taara, for good measure and you’re sprung for spring. And since it is spring and more than just my separates are in bloom, I took a trip to my favorite little oasis, the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, to see what mother nature had to offer in the floral department. Simply beautiful.
