Been There, Done That: Fashion Bloggers Night Out at Neiman Marcus Coral Gables

Hey, that’s me!

Last night Neiman Marcus in Coral Gables hosted a house packed with Miami fashionistas for Fashion Bloggers Night Out. In an evening all about apparel, the crowd showed up dressed to the nines to listen to fellow fashion bloggers Annie Vazquez, Kar Gar, Maria Tettamanti, Jenny Lopez and myself chat about—what else—fashion and blogging while Maria Arguello moderated. And what would a fashion blogger night out be without a fashion show? With the help of Katharine Rubino, Neiman Marcus sent its top looks of the season down the runway. With everything from neon to tribal, the runway included real showstoppers, as well as looks from each blogger. Afterward, the crowd enjoyed drinks from Perrier, snacks from Paulina’s Pops and Kathy’s Kakery and silly and serious pics at the Flash Candy photo shoot. It was a stellar night for fashion and fun.

The girls: The Wordy Girl, Lopez Jenny Lopez, Me, Maria Arguello, Annie Vazquez and KarGarOhhSnap.

Chattin’ it up.

This is the same model who made me look like a midget back at the Stella McCartney party. She was also at Alexis Bittar. I think she is following me around to give me a complex about my height. Just sayin’.

My look for the runway: Milly dress (cuz that’s my kiddos name), Miu Miu heels, Alexis Bittar bangle and earrings, Prada clutch.

The Wordy Girl isn’t just a fellow blogger, she’s been my bestie for over a decade now. You could say we go back, waaaaay, back. Maria is wearing a Halston Heritage dress with a pair of Louboutins I would have fought her for back at the Last Call sale, had our feet been the same size. I’m donning my Alexis dress (yes, it FINALLY arrived from HauteLook), a vintage necklace and Steven nude platform pumps.

Nikki Novo enjoying one of Paulina’s Pops.

DJs Ess & Emm dropped the beats.

And Kathyrn Saks of Kathy’s Kakery kept blood sugar levels nice and high.

Such a fashionable crowd: Nikki Novo and Cristina Menendez.

Speaking of fashionable, meet Steffy Kuncman. Loved her look (Forever 21 skirt, vintage top and hat) from head to toe. It’s no surprise she runs her own vintage online shop, Tea & Tulips.

Representing the Big Easy, Mallory Domingue, of Fashion Week New Orleans, also got it right from top to botton in her TJ Maxx outfit. These girls prove you don’t have to break the bank to stop the show.

Thanks to everyone who made it out last night. Who says Miami isn’t fashion forward?
