Here’s a deep thought: What does “wellness” mean to you? Is it eating well? Exercising? Finding your happy place? Or is it something you have to stop and think about?

For me, it’s all of the above. But finding a balance and connection to wellness, well, that’s the tricky part. Sometimes we need a little help getting to that sweet spot. So, if wellness is something that has crossed your mind before or it’s part of your daily routine or you’re clueless but want to know where to start, I invite you to join me for MKT by bazbazaz‘s Balance & Connect edition this Saturday in Wynwood. I’ll be weighing in on what wellness means to me, experts will share their tips and tricks to finding a harmonious balance and we’ll spend the day surrounded by music, organic foods, artisan products and other things that make you feel good in order to make the wellness connection.

Starting at 3 p.m., we’ll get into the heart of wellness with discussions about eating well, exercise and the importance of the almighty mantra. I’ll be leading a Q&A with Jucy Lu‘s Rodrigo Martinez, who will speak about juicing and its roll in the wellness game.

Then, Dawn B Feinberg of Ahana Yoga will weigh in on how yoga and wellness work together. As an old school yogi, I can tell you the path to wellness starts with both juicing and yoga.

And then, at 4 p.m., it’s my turn to share how to make a mantra part of your life. Whether you already have a mantra or have no clue what a mantra is and needs tips to create one, I’ll be there to guide you though.

Afterward, we’ll all bliss out to the laid-back grooves of DJ YSL and do a little shopping at the market. You’ll leave feeling enlightened. And that, my friends, is what it’s all about.

Get yourself to 2100 North Miami Avenue (21st Street) on Saturday from 1 to 7 p.m. It’s free, so no excuses. RSVP here
