An Artful Event This Weekend: The District Factory

I make art. See more at EnchantedPlastic.com. Yup, that’s a totally shameless plug right there.

This weekend, culture up. On Saturday, while you’re kicking around Art & Design night in the Design District, stop over at The District Factory. The first-ever event starts at 7 p.m. Themed around Andy Warhol’s “The Factory,” this 40 vendors-deep shopping-art hybrid is quickly gaining momentum as the place to be Saturday night. It’s a once-a-month chance to catch up with local artists, designers and Miami’s talent pool. I’ll be there selling art from my project Enchanted Plastic. It’s a little thing my husband (a photographer) and me (a vintage Barbie collector) put together as art for our daughter’s room that turned into a passion project. Stop by and see it in person. Uber talented buddy Erin Chainani will also be there doing live sketches. And wouldn’t that look cool framed on your bookshelf? You’ll also find jewelry, vintage, food, beauty stations, indie flicks and more. It’s a great way to support and shop locally.

See you at the District.
