A Bliss-ful Evening

Wearing Tricia Fix dress, Stella & Dot necklace, vintage clutch and bangles and the world’s most uncomfortable shoes from Steve Madden. Seriously, they make my feet feel like they are bleeding.

Last night, I hosted a chic soiree at Bliss Spa at the W South Beach. The party, Beachwear Bash, featured local designers Kariza swimwear, Aquarius and Septimo Jewelry. I was blown away by Kariza’s cover-ups. In addition to adorable, sheer pants and shorts in Miami-must patterns, she offers up cover-ups that transform into a million different shapes. Make it a halter, make it strapless, make it loop over one arm. These cover-ups are something new every time you put them on. Between shopping, we enjoyed spa treatments from Bliss and sipped Grey Goose Cherry Noir cocktails that tasted like Gummy Bears. The weather was amazing and the crowd was a blast. This was my first trip to Bliss, and I have to say I was really impressed with the salon. Not only is it well-done, the patio makes for a great party space under the stars. The store is packed with some of my favorite products, too, including the body butters, which are so rich, you can’t help but feel silky smooth. If you aren’t familiar with Bliss, check it out soon. Mother’s Day discounts are available now and make a great gift (because you know you need to take care of that sooner than later). In fact, my favorite part of the evening was my complimentary neck massage with Vita, a Bliss massage master. Afterward, I decided we need to have free massages at every party. I mean, somewhere along the way someone decided a party wasn’t a party without libations. And now I’ve decided that complimentary massages should also be mandatory at every event. Who’s with me in starting the movement? While I draft up the proposal, enjoy these pics from last night’s Bliss-ful affair.

Daniella Sredni and her amazing Aquarius designs. I actually have that cute orange top in blue.

Me enjoying nail polish and being goofy. Such a great time.

Fellow blogger Annie Vazquez made it to the event last night, which was put together by Lori Riviera, of Shortcuts To Fabulous, pictured here in her super cute green dress.

Free massages for all! Who’s with me? Seriously, the blood orange lotion is so supple.
